Stetson is offering two hats made from Japanese Bu:
The Oswego and
The Rantoul. Both
fedoras are made in Texas, of course, from exceptional and tightly woven 1x1 Japanese Bu shantung. Luxurious to the touch, the hats are lightweight and a true delight to wear. Another new hat this season comes from the Santana by Carlos Santana line. Called
The Collective, it's a
stingy brim fedora in a comfortable in a blend of polyester and cotton braid, and is quite intricate in design.
From Scala, we've got
The Vented Panama, a genuine
Panama fedora with a cool open weave construction in addition to some
raffia hats like
The Matte Raffia Safari,
The Burnt Raffia Outback, with a stay-put leather chin cord and elasticized sweatband, and
The Raffia Gambler, with a great jute trim with palm tree badge.
The new
cotton stingy brim fedoras from Goorin are already proving extremely popular.
The Tar Pits with its contrast plaid trim is one such hat with a 3/4 inch turned down brim; and there's also
The Freddie, a modern
rex with a small check pattern and upturned brim, and
The Rincon with solid trim,
Goorin insignia pin and contrast striped interior.
That's just the tip of the
men's hats iceberg. You've still got the new line of
Mr. Kim hats from New York designer, Eugenia Kim, to explore plus all the fur felt hats and winter hats we carry throughout the year--just in case you need them. Take your time, and we'll meet again on the other side.
